We're here to help!
Healthy Hair Skills Workshop for Curly Kidz and Teenz at Hair's Talent Salon in East Haven CT
You blessed your child with your bountiful curls and coils, but now you're ready for them to be a little more independent when it comes to taking care them. If you’re a parent struggling with your child’s hair care, you are not alone. Are you ready to teach your child how to start their healthy hair routine? It's time they start participating in the shampoo, condition and detangling ritual for their textured hair.
"At what age should my child start taking care of their hair?"
We hear this question a lot from our clients with children. Hair with textured curls and coils comes with responsibility, especially if you want to keep it healthy and promote growth! We see most children start to share in this responsibility between 6-8 years of age. Depending on the length of their hair, you can set a reasonable goal of hair independence by age 10- 12, at least for shampooing, conditioning and detangling. But, as you know, there's so much more to learn about hair with lots of texture and what it needs to be healthy and happy.
Healthy Hair Skills Workshop
We created this fun workshop to teach kids and young adults about their hair type, and how to wash, condition and comb through those curls or tight coils in a healthy way.
Ready for more freedom and independence for you and your child? Parents and kids are welcome to join one of our upcoming Healthy Hair Skills Workshop.
